Comparison
Classic till, or Duxa?
We will not bury the classic till. It works, and for some restaurants it is the right choice.
Here is the honest version. Where the classic approach is solid, we say so. Where Duxa changes the math, we show the numbers. You decide.
Where the classic till is solid
Three things a classic till does well
A POS that has been on counters for twenty years did not get there by accident. Three of its strengths are real.
It is yours, paid once
You buy the device and own it. No monthly fee runs in the background. For a settled business that does not plan to change much, the math can be simpler.
It runs with no internet
Old tills keep working when the line goes down, because they never needed it. That habit of reliability is worth respecting.
Everyone already knows it
Your cashier learned the classic screen years ago. There is no training day, no new habit to build. Familiarity has a real value.
Side by side
Eight points, two approaches
Same eight questions, asked of both. No marketing words — just what each one actually does.

Getting started
When the classic till makes more sense
Duxa is not for everyone
We would rather you choose well than choose us. Three cases where a classic till is the smarter call.
A single fixed counter
One cashier, a short menu that never changes, no queue. A classic till covers that fine, and a monthly fee adds little.
You already paid for one
If you bought a till last year and it does the job, there is no rush. Switch when the limit starts to hurt, not before.
No internet at all
Our kiosk app runs offline, but the cloud sync needs a connection now and then. If your spot has no line at all, weigh that first.
